How My Family Lives in America 2nd Grade Book Review by Kamala Mogga

This book is about a Chinese girl telling us about her life in America. I wonder what if she would like China!  I predict that she would like it. I can imagine her eating cold sesame noodles. I can relate to April because both of my parents came to America from the same country. My mother came for college and my dad came as a refugee. We also cook food from Sudan like ocra and spinach and peanut butter. April has to go to Chinese school, my grandma speaks Kuku but I don’t know how to. What’s important here is that her family tries to remember the things they done in China and do it here.
