Today we present a recipe for beetroot salad from South Africa. This is a beautiful zesty side dish to add to your dinner party. Serve with every meal as a relish too. Easy to make using 5 ingredients: beetroots, red onions, carrots, olive oil and apple vinegar. See attached recipe for details.
Three beets are boiled, then grated. Grate a carrot. Slice 1 small red onion into fine slices. On the stove, heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Fry onions and carrots in olive oil for 2 minutes. Then add grated beets and mix . Add 1 teaspoon of Apple vinegar. Mix for 3 minutes. Turn heat off. Serve.
